The Problem

The Lingo.dev founders experienced localisation as a consistent release bottleneck — shipping to new markets meant waiting weeks for human translators to process hundreds of string files.

Building It

Built and launched through Y Combinator's Fall 2024 batch. Reached #2 Product of the Day on Product Hunt and quickly gained traction among developer-focused SaaS teams.

First Customer

The first paid customers were engineering teams that had been paying for Lokalise and Phrase but wanted a CLI-native workflow that fit in their existing CI pipeline.
