The Problem

Davit experienced embarrassing background noise on client calls while working from a coffee shop and couldn't find any software that reliably removed it.

Building It

Founded in 2017 and accepted into YC S2018. Released the first public version in 2019, which went viral among remote workers almost immediately.

First Customer

The launch day Product Hunt post reached #1 and generated thousands of signups in 24 hours from remote workers frustrated with noisy calls.

What It Means

Krisp made 'working from anywhere' actually work by solving the single biggest embarrassment of remote communication — uncontrollable background noise.
